Zydeco is the home bar of Birmingham Rugby. Join us there around 9:30 PM any Thursday night. Please support those who support us. That means,
1. Go to Zydeco.
2. Spend money.
3. Tell them the Birmingham Rugby Team sent you.
The Senior Men's team and UAB team practices are every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at 3609 Montclair Road - Ramsay Park
All are welcome to participate in practice (male or female) although we do not have a women's team at this time. No experience is necessary to come to practice and give it a try.
Vulcans, here are some things you need to do before your first match, if you are on the men's team:
1. Pay club dues for this season. See the payment info at the bottom of this page.
2. C.I.P.P. register with USA Rugby as a member of Birmingham. Go to usarugby.org, click the link on the left for "Membership" and follow the instructions. Accept and print out the waiver, sign it, and bring it to practice. Continue the registration online, including the $45 payment. If we do not already have a copy of your current driver's license and health insurance card on file from this year or last year, bring those to practice too. Give those things to our Match Secretary. If that person is not available, give them to another coach or officer.
3. Check out our "Calendar / Schedule" link to the left, and plan accordingly.
4. Learn the rules of Rugby the best you can, even if we covered some of them at practice and even if you are not a rookie
